Meet the Lawsons

Denise and Gary Lawson were not unaware that their windows were old and inefficient. After all, their home was 32 years old, and the windows had never been replaced. They actually started looking at replacement windows at trade shows and in stores five years ago. One of their concerns was maintaining the traditional look of the home, while getting better energy-efficiency. They knew that they needed to keep the cold air out during the winter, but didn’t want to change the style of their home.

Enter Weber Windows

When the Lawsons called our company, they had contacted two other window companies. We discussed the benefits of the Infinity window, which gave them the energy-efficiency they wanted. The Infinity window also has a smaller frame that is a more traditional look. This offers more glass space for better views and added sunlight. The cost savings of the Infinity window enticed the Lawsons to let us upgrade their home.

Installing New Windows

The day of the install went well. A lot of times, older homes have dry rot in the sashing, but we didn’t find any of that. Our installation team custom-stained the windows to match the existing trim throughout the home, which alleviated one of the Lawsons’ concerns. “They [the windows] are beautiful and we really enjoy them a lot!” say the Lawsons today. The couple has yet to see the savings on their winter heat bills, but they are looking forward to it.
